Every Child Needs a Champion

Join me and help Friends of Alameda County CASA Inc recruit, train, and support dedicated volunteers to be the constant in a child's life while they’re in the foster care system.

During my four years of service on ACCASA’s Board of Directors, I’ve learned how important CASA volunteers are to children who have been placed in foster care. They advocate, mentor, listen and advise. Many times they just share the simple things in life with their youth...a regional park, a library visit or a bite of something new.

I intend to walk 300 miles on behalf of our youth during the 2021 Fitness for Foster Youth Campaign, Jan 1, 2021 - March 31, 2021. When it comes to exercise, I can be, ...no, I am a procrastinator 😊. The opportunity to provide financial assistance so ACCASA can do more, will motivate me to get up, out and walking. COVID-19 will prevent me from walking in foreign countries 😥, but I’ll walk in local neighborhoods (wave if you see me in yours), along waterfronts, in local parks and sometimes on my treadmill to reach my goal.

Please stand up for a foster child by making a donation and helping me reach my fitness goal of 300 miles and my goal of raising $1800 in donations on behalf of ACCASA.
